 Family Locker Room Now Available

Getting your children in swim lessons to help them safely enjoy local waterfronts just got much more convenient with the addition of a family locker room at the Muskegon Family YMCA.  The new family locker room provides an area where mothers can supervise sons and fathers supervise daughters while changing to use the pool. Participants with special needs that require help dressing can also use the new family locker room.  Lead gifts for the development of the family locker room were given by The Community Foundation for Muskegon County, Muskegon Y’s Club and the MYST Swim Team.  It is anticipated that the added convenience will translate into more children in Muskegon learning how to swim, making our waterfronts safer.
